So to figure out "whose cuisine reigns supreme" I am gonna get all Iron Chef and grade the 2 chocolates in three categories: Taste, Crunchiness, and Overall (How well the chocolate works with itself).

The United States Patent and Trademark Office allowed Hershey to maintain the Malteser trademark after it was acquired from Huhtamaki Finance. Mars called the mark registration as a move that “attempted to block Mars from selling Maltesers candy in competition with Hershey’s Whoppers candy”.

They do taste differently. Malteasers have more of a malt taste to them, more soft and subtle taste, and the inside is soft. Whoppers inside is a little harder and they have a more harsh taste - there is no malt taste in Whoppers, they are very plain tasting.

Cart 2008-11-28 I just found Whoppers way too sweet for me. Maltesers have a more caramelly taste. I miss Maltesers. It's strange that I can't find one here in the U.S. I even had to research about it and the irony is, it is produced by Mars, Incorporated, an American based company.

Anyway, the flavor of the whopper seems to have more substance than the big mac even though I do like the big mac's secret sauce. My guess is the caloric differences are not much but sometimes burger king would sell whoppers for a dollar each whereas I don't think mcdonald's ever sold a big mac for a dollar maybe $1.43 back in nineteen
